For awhile I've been trying to do a crossover between Iskryne and Legend of the Seeker. At first I was thinking of giving Richard a wolfbrother but I couldn't make it work. Then I realized that I could make it work with the Mord'Sith. But that means going from one wolf to one per Mord'Sith and I'm including Darken in there. Each wolf has a spoken name and a scent name. That's a lot of names and I have no sense of smell. So I don't feel very confident creating and describing scent names.

Some background for what I need since I don't expect people to be familiar with Iskryne: Discussion of soulbonding to wolves and their heat cycles under the cut )

Title: Avengers Resemble
Author: Vorquellyn/Haeceity
Length: 2K
Rating: Teen
Pairings/Characters: Darken/Cara, Walter/Mika, Chase, Denna, Jennsen, Egremont, Richard/Kahlan
Warnings: References to mild BDSM elements, mild swearing
Prompt: Avengers AU. I want Iron Rahl. IRON RAHL. And Jennsen is either Pepper Potts, or Thor's girlfriend idk. Richard is Captain D'Hara. Denna is Red Widow, and Cara is Thor. Garen is like... Hawkeye. Egremont is Nick Fury. I don't know who the Hulk would be. Surprise me. -from [livejournal.com profile] pristineungift
Summary: LOTS/Avengers fusion humor fic focused mainly on Darken and Cara

Notes: I have the start of a longer, more serious fic in my google docs. The fic keeps misbehaving so I'm turning this in. Plus I wanted to put something in the prompt fest that isn't 100% doom and gloom. Pulls on elements of canon from 616, cinema, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and X-Men: Evolution. As well as being a fusion and including bits of stuff from the LotS character interactions.

Cheat sheet:

Richard - Captain America
Darken - Iron Man
Jennsen - Rescue
Kahlan - Diamondback
Anna - Agent Thirteen
Michael - Winter Soldier
Haden - Happy

Title: Proclus
Fandom: Inception, Alliance-Union
Genre: Space Opera
Rating: Teen
Length: ~5000
Characters/Pairings: Cobb/Mal, Arthur/Eames, Ariadne, Yusuf, Saito, Ari II, Florian II, Catlin II (list for this part only)
Summary: Inception characters in the universe of CJ Cherryh's Alliance-Union series. This fic is intended for an audience that isn't acquainted with CJ Cherryh's books.

I'm deliberately mushy on the Alliance-Union lore because I want to do is impossible by a factor of about 60 years. In case someone else who's read the books reads this, it takes place a vague number of decades after Regenesis. Revised as of 5/29/2013 for Alliance-Union canon errors.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Nolan or Cherryh and do not own any part of Inception or Alliance-Union

Warnings: consent issues, non-recreational drug use, crime, abuse of authority, mental illness (PTSD and schizoid thought and behavior patterns)

Title: Inevitable
Fandom: Legend of the Seeker
Rating: K+
Length: ~1400 words
Characters: Cara/Dahlia
Summary: Neither of them become Mord'Sith
Disclaimer: Legend of the Seeker is the property of ABC, SOT is the property of Terry Goodkind, World of Darkness does not belong to me, quote is from Interstate 60 which also does not belong to me.

Notes: I love AU stories. The what might have beens and whys are the most interesting questions. The big bang project that [livejournal.com profile] booknerdguru and I worked on might still be created someday so I'm leaving out the plot but I want to write some of the world we intended to use. So credit to [livejournal.com profile] booknerdguru. For inspiration; Star Trek The Next Generation had an episode where Worf bounced through the multiverse, "Cascade Point" by Timothy Zahn helped me visualize a structure for the multiverse, and the Amber series by Roger Zelazny helped give me narrative ideas. [livejournal.com profile] booknerdguru proofread this section. Ideas I got during conversations with [livejournal.com profile] 16beckyb, [livejournal.com profile] pristineungift, [livejournal.com profile] dorothydeath, [livejournal.com profile] hrhrionastar, and [livejournal.com profile] meridian_rose are present.

There’s this theory. Given an infinite universe and infinite time, all things will happen. That means that every event is inevitable, including those that are impossible. That’s as good an explanation for this as anything else. )
