Favorite Quote: "Yub yub, Commander!"
Worst Character Death (if any): I am still angry about Anakin Solo's death
This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: So many! Tyria telling Kell he's not in love with her, he doesn't know her and she's shown to be right instead of a bitch. Jaina and Leia learning to relate to each other with the understanding that neither of them is wrong but Jaina still has reasons to be upset with her mom. Just in general the Star Wars Expanded Universe had a more nuanced take on family dynamics and choosing your own destiny and what it means to be afraid of your family's legacy and proud of it at the same time than anything on my school's recommended reading list. They weren't usually limited to just the Skywalker/Solo family. Most characters had complicated histories and feelings about their parents and what they wanted to do in life whether or not they were Force sensitive.
Saddest Moment: Aaron Allston was really, really good at these. I can't choose but they were all either in Wraith Squadron or New Jedi Order
Favorite Location: I don't really have one.

My favorite MCU fanfic authors definitely draw on other continuities. And yeah, I'm not always impressed with the way the movies handle characterization. My understanding of comics'verse is that quality can be kind of inconsistent there too. So, the good authors are the ones invested enough to try to make arcs between the good writing and the bad. There are a lot of people still kind of upset about Steve's 616 death and/or the way the Avengers just let Carol get kidnapped for a year without trying to find her etc. So there's some excellent MCU fanfic aimed at dealing with those kind of glitches "properly." Some of it is really, really good. :)

Jet is a case of inconsistent writing. The creative team wasn't exactly clear that she'd been aged up from 14 to 22 and she was Bucky's adopted daughter. So there was an internet blowup when Sam had sex with her of the "this wasn't actually underage or incest but it's too close for comfort for a lot of people" variety. Except the writer insisted that it wasn't his fault people were getting upset because readers weren't paying enough attention to see that she wasn't underage anymore.
